Instructions for Using the Pressure Testing Device for Woodwind Instruments |
Anyone who is involved in the production, distribution or use of woodwind instruments – in workshops or music stores alike – is familiar with a number of issues that may arise:
- new instruments need to be inspected in the music store
- the production of the instruments needs to be monitored
- when instruments are repaired, they need to be tested to ensure that
no air escapes unnecessarily
- the pressure also needs to be checked when the instrument is delivered
from the workshop (final check)
The pressure testing device ensures that there are no air leaks in a safe and extremely hygienic manner, because no oral suction is required. Exact checks of every individual flap and pad can be carried out, leading to considerable savings in time and costs.
